To all those critics who tore the movie apart with their predcitions of failure. Daniel Craig has made you eat your words. Personally I was surprised to see a blond Bond and more so a English Bond after his Irish, Scotish and Welsh predecessors I thought Daniel Craig got real lucky. But in fact he earned his Bond-ness. Casino Royale is not your average Bond movie with just booming, banging and smart quirks. Its interesting and quite refreshing. You can tella lot of thinking went into this movie and not just text book Bond tricks. It is though sad NOT to see Q anywhere as he always brightens up the movie with his gadgets and clever comebacks. Yet what lacks in the gadgets area is made up by the smart thinking and impressive poker scenes. For some reason, after watching this Bond movie I felt good, not just exhilirating good because of the action, but I felt intelectually stimulated. The miracle is the director kept it all simple. Brilliant acting shows how far you can go without using big explosions. Well done to Danel Craig for freshening up Bond.
